Banana mango smoothie

Cool summer treats

Pack a frozen smoothie in a pouch or snack cup, for a cool summer treat the kids will love packed with fruit.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons fresh mango, pitted and chopped
  • ½ banana, skin removed and chopped
  • 2-3 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup milk of your choice (can add more milk if you want a thinner texture)

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and puree. Taste and adjust as needed.
  2. Pour into reusable pouches and freeze. Fills 2-3 pouches depending on size.
  3. Place in lunchboxes with cooler pack and consume within 4 hours of removing from the fridge.
  4. If you don't have pouches you can use a snack cup container. It will probably need to be eaten in 2 hours. Don't forget to pack a spoon.
