Preparing restricted fruit and vegetables
All fruit and vegetables, including those restricted, can be prepared in certain ways so they can move between areas without spreading fruit fly:
- canned
- cooked
- dried
- frozen
- grated
- pureed.
Movement restrictions still apply to sliced or mashed fruit as this will not reduce the risk of spreading fruit fly.
