Apple scones
Ingredients
- 1pkt SACWA Lauke Scone Mix, 1 sachets
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, finely chopped
- 80gms caster sugar
- 230mls water
Method
- Plain flour for kneading
- Heat oven to 210 degrees celsius.
- Place all ingredients into a food processor with a dough function, mix for 3mins.
- Place dough onto a floured mat, rest for 5 mins.
- Roll or press out dough to 2cms thick and cut into rounds.
- Place closely together on a baking tray (use baking paper).
- Cook for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Enjoy warm with your favourite topping and cream, or you could even enjoy with a nice piece of camembert cheese.
- You can also mix by hand in a bowl with a straight-bladed knife, then knead (using plain flour) until no longer sticky and dough is smooth (dough is very sticky and messy).
